Carb Top Cover - Compatible with Amal 376/389/689 (Choke and No-Choke)

These heat treated, and glass bead blasted Aluminium covers are compatible with stock mixing chamber tops on the Amal 376/389/689 carburettors, just with a bit more style!

Please choose carefully when ordering as there are 4 options.

Type: Standard or No Choke and Size: 376 or 389/689

These covers come as standard ready to fit with with your:

• 7/32" 40 TPI Triumph cable adjuster (4/035, 9/035, 99-1024, 99-7096)
• 7/32" 40 TPI Blanking screw (4/137A)
• 5BA Clip Screw (4/241)
• 376 Locking Clip (4/235) or 389 Locking Clip (29/201)

Any cable hole is tapped to ME 7/32" x 40tpi to take either the adjuster, or blanking screw. Should you wish to use cables with ferrules instead of an adjuster, you can easily drill these covers out.

The clip retaining screw hole is tapped to 5BA.

Please note that on the NO-CHOKE version you will need to modify your Locking clip to contact the Cap ring fully......such is the nature of customisation :-)
